Meghan and Harry expecting a baby

The Kensington Palace resident announced in a statement on Monday, that The Royal Highnesses the Duke, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, are expecting a child in the spring of 2019. It also stated that The Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to share this happy news with the public.

The Royal Couple's Tour

Meghan, a former US actress, wed Harry in a fairy tale style at Windsor Castle on May 19. The two royals are on their  Pacific tour to Sydney; a first of a kind after their royal union.The royal tour will last for almost a fortnight which will cover Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand (predominantly former British colonies.)

Meghan made her debut in US television series "Suits" (a legal drama), as a savvy para-legal Rachel Zane.

Meghan a down to earth lady

Meghan's every action has been minutely scrutinized by the royal watchers and the media as well as to how the mixed-race American actress will perform in her new role. Last month she was spotted closing her own car door at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. This gesture was quoted as a sign that Meghan remains a down-to-earth woman despite being married to Prince Harry; grandson of Queen Elizabeth II.
