A white man has been convicted by jury on Friday, April 12 2018; for firing a shotgun at a black teen in Michigan.
Brennan Walker, 14; had missed his bus on Friday morning , so he stopped at the Rochester Hills; house of Jeffrey Ziegler,53; to ask for directions. Instead, the boy was chased with a shotgun, who was lucky enough to escape death without any injury, as Ziegler fired shots at him.
Ziegler, had been found guilty of assault and in possession of arms, while serving his commission
Although he has been charged with suspicion of assault with attempt to murder, the prosecution"determined Mr. Ziegler did not plan to kill Brennan Walker," said defense lawyer Rob Morad.
"The teenager's mother, Lisa Wright, said following the verdict that his son is under medical examination as a result of the assault. "This will influence my son forever." she said.
Asked if Ziegler would allure, Morad stated,"There are issues we need to look at, and we'll decide when the time comes."
Brennan recounts the incidence stating that he knocked at the door twice and a lady came yelling saying that why is he trying to break into the house. He explained that he was just looking for the directions to Rochester High.
Ziegler's wife called the police, reporting that a black man was trying to break in to her house. Her husband chased him to the lawn with a shotgun, firing at the boy as he ran away.

10 years of imprisonment
The lawyer said the gun charge comes with a two years behind the bars, prior to the trail starts; the assault conviction could take anywhere from a few months to rigorous 10 years of imprisonment, '' he explained.
